For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to help people. Growing up in a small town, mental health was rarely discussed openly. Therapy felt distant, and emotions were often minimized rather than explored. Over time, as conversations around mental health began to shift, it became clear that this path aligned with the care and support I wanted to provide to others. That journey led to earning my degree in social work, and to eventually, becoming a therapist.

My own experience as a client played a meaningful role in shaping the therapist I am today. I experienced firsthand how powerful it can be to feel truly heard, understood, and supported. I think of healing and personal growth as a process rather than a single moment - less like a leap and more like a series of intentional steps forward. Seeking therapy is one of those early steps, and if you’re here, you’ve already begun your journey. I'm genuinely glad you found your way here.

I have been a licensed social worker since 2015 and earned my clinical licensure (LICSW) in 2021. My professional background includes working with children and adolescents and their foster families in therapeutic foster care, coordinating care for individuals with complex medical and mental health needs, and serving Veterans at the VA. During my time at the VA, I worked as an Oncology Social Worker, supporting Veterans with cancer and their families, and provided integrated case management for Veterans with multifaceted needs. Each of these roles reinforced how impactful it can be to have someone consistently in your corner.

My therapy style is relaxed, collaborative, and strengths-based. I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, as I believe meaningful change begins with trust, empathy, and a nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and understood.

While I offer an empathetic and supportive presence, I also believe therapy works best when there is room for thoughtful reflection, gentle challenge, and honest exploration of patterns that may no longer be serving you.

I am formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I incorporate coping strategies, psychoeducation, and evidence-based tools into my work. While CBT provides the foundation of my clinical training, I also integrate concepts informed by ongoing professional learning and research to tailor therapy to each individual’s needs. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and practical - a space where insight, skill-building, and self-compassion can coexist.

I am especially passionate about supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate environment where you can show up as you are, explore what’s been weighing on you, and work collaboratively toward meaningful, sustainable change.

HEY THERE, I'M

Why Me?

It is so important to me that you feel safe, seen, and supported. I show up with compassion, without judgment, and a commitment to developing a meaningful and therapeutic relationship.

With over a decade of experience supporting people from all kinds of backgrounds, I’ve learned that every story is worth hearing and every person deserves care that truly fits them.

I believe in a strengths-based approach. I’m not here to “fix” you, but rather to understand you, support you, and help you reconnect with your strengths.
