HEY THERE, I'M

Ashley

Therapy for Anxiety, Depression, Stress, and Life Overwhelm

While I'm trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), my goal is to create a space for you where therapy feels safe, supportive, and approachable—not intimidating or overly clinical.

My path to becoming a therapist began in 2017 during my undergraduate social work program, when a professor challenged our class to attend a therapy session ourselves.

What started as a simple assignment became a turning point for me. Through my own work in counseling, I experienced the impact of being truly heard—sitting with someone I trusted, gaining clarity, and learning healthier ways of coping. Therapy quickly shifted from something I had to do to something I genuinely valued and looked forward to.

Those experiences shape the way I show up for my clients now. I work to create a safe, supportive, judgment-free space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.

I incorporate practical coping tools and psychoeducation to help you build confidence and feel better equipped to navigate whatever you’re facing. I enjoy working with clients experiencing life transitions, stress and anxiety, depression, and substance use concerns.

I also bring extensive experience in geriatric care, supporting older adults and families through aging-related challenges, chronic illness, grief, and end-of-life concerns.

I'm passionate about working with clients experiencing anxiety, overthinking, burnout, and depression, helping them make sense of what they’re going through and find more manageable ways to cope.

I support overwhelmed adults, college students, and caregivers, and provide a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals.

When meaningful to the client, I'm also open to incorporating faith-based perspectives into the work.
